This position produces precision parts for both in-house and customer use, in strict accordance with specified drawings, instructions and procedures, by using both manual and CNC-operated fabrication equipment.
DUTY SUMMARY: Examine routing, work orders, blueprints, Bill of Materials, or other work specifications to visualize the part(s) to be manufactured. Calculate fabrication dimensions and map out the sequence of work steps to be executed. Obtain necessary materials and components from the Tool crib area when required. Measure and mark the raw metal block to outline the machining work using the appropriate measuring tools. Set up and operate both manual and CNC machinery to produce parts following the provided instructions. Perform heat treatment on final parts when necessary. Inspect completed parts to confirm alignments and clearances for dimensional accuracy. Assemble final parts using fasteners and other essential hand tools according to the routing instructions. Refine and polish flat and contoured surfaces of the final part(s) using suitable abrasive tools. Develop a plan for corrective measures in case of deviations from component quality standards. Execute corrective measures by making required adjustments as instructed. Decide on the appropriate action for non-conforming products as instructed.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma preferred. Proficient in machining. Experienced with CNC. Able to operate complex machinery. Advanced understanding of blueprints. Proficient in shop math. Skilled in troubleshooting. Patient and detail-oriented. Comfortable with deadlines and training. Team player with good communication skills.
Pay Rate: Starting range $22 per hour

This position develops, implements, and coordinates the company’s quality assurance (QA)program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for strong support of the creation, improvement, overseeing of P1 Technologies’ quality management system(s).
DUTY SUMMARY: Develop basic composition of and subsequent modifications to the company’s QA program &delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within the program. Develop and analyze statistical data as needed. Formulate and maintain quality control objectives through the implementation of operational procedures and instructions to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Train and coach employees as necessary to promote and implement the company’s QA policies, operating procedures, and goals. Direct employees engaged in quality engineering, inspection, and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Establish, delineate, and review QA departmental policies, to coordinate work activities between QA and other departments and establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Review technical problems and procedures of departments and recommend solutions to problems or changes in procedures. Confer with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured products on market to rectify problems. Ensure that subordinates receive adequate technical training and direction, through the use of periodic performance evaluations and other management tools, to help them maximize their present and future work performance. Review technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry. Investigate and address customer complaints or questions regarding quality. Participate in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process as directed. Evaluate subcontractors (vendors) for quality standard conformance .Manage all internal and external audit activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years related QA management experience in a manufacturing environment required. 4- year degree required. Must have the following advanced skills: math (e.g. inferential logic, multivariant, statistics, etc.), mechanical, electronics(e.g. AC, DC, low frequency, etc.).Must be technically proficient with schematics/technical drawings and test, measurement & diagnostic equipment. Must be able to operate computers used in quality assurance (e.g. word processors, spreadsheets, etc.).Must be comfortable handling many tasks simultaneously and able to work with the pressure of deadlines. Must demonstrate excellent leadership and resource management skills. Must be comfortable with on-the-job training, cross-training and training other quality assurance staff. Must be able to work as a team-player as well as independently, exploring and sharing ways to improve efficiency. Must be extremely detail-oriented: accurate, consistent, thorough, neat, perceptive to product or process deficiencies, punctual. Must be able to demonstrate and show commitments to workplace housekeeping and safety. Must be able to maintain satisfactory attendance record as required for this position.
